Miss Anona Fletcher is excited to begin her next adventure as a 6th grade teacher at the West Valley campus of Ascent Academies of Utah. Her previous adventures were getting her Bachelors in Elementary Education at Utah State University and teaching for 4 years at Somerset Academy of North Las Vegas. Along with her teaching degree, Miss Fletcher received an endorsement in English as Second Language (ESL) so she has the tools to further her belief that all students deserve an equal chance to receive the best education possible. Currently, Miss Fletcher is working on her Masters of Education with an emphasis in Reading from Northcentral University.

Her philosophy is to provide students with the tools to help them not only achieve in her classroom but in life. She is an avid learner and reader and hopes to impart her love of learning and reading to all her students.
Miss Fletcher grew up in Southwestern Colorado and returns to visit family there during the holidays. She has 8 siblings and 15 nieces and nephews.
