My name is Kristina Lavor, but the students at Ascent know me as Mrs.B! I was born and raised in California, but moved to Utah last year. I graduated from California State University of Sacramento with a Bachelors in Child Development back in 2019. I got married to my husband Ellis in 2021, and moved to Utah. Utah is definitely different from California, but I love the nature out here, especially the SNOW. In my free time, I like to take drives, travel to new places, go to Target, and take naps. When I first moved over here, I started substitute teaching. I fell in love with Ascent instantly, and now teach 3rd grade full time here.

Ever since I was a little girl, I knew that I wanted to work with kids. That being said, I’ve been working with children in various different environments for over 5 years now. I have absolutely loved every minute of it, because no day is ever the same when working with kids. I believe that there is so much that I learn from my students everyday. I believe in treating EVERYBODY with love and kindness, and that is something I teach and live by. You can never have too many kind people in this world.
