Yoshimi graduated from Dixie State University of Utah with Magna Cum Laude honors in May, 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She received her Utah Professional Educator License for K to 6th grade and ESL Endorsement. Since then, she has taught at several schools till now. 

Yoshimi was raised in Kanagawa (South of Tokyo), Japan. After she married, her family has lived in Memphis, Yokohama (Japan), San Francisco, and several cities in Utah. She has two lovely children and a husband. 

Yoshimi likes to travel, be in nature, scuba-dive, take photos, listen to music, and do Zumba. She has a master license in Japanese calligraphy and has been teaching children and adults. 

She is grateful for being a part of Ascent Academy because she likes the school’s wonderful and unique programs. She loves teaching and children.
