Hello! My name is Noemi Villa and I am very excited to be a part of the Ascent Academy team once again! 

 

I am currently studying Elementary education at Western Governors University in order to obtain a bachelor's degree to become an elementary school teacher. I have wanted to be an educator ever since I was in Kindergarten. I have always had a love for school and for learning and I am passionate about sharing that love with others. 

 

I am thrilled to work at Ascent Academy. I love the school’s focus on helping each individual student develop their gifts and talents. I believe helping students discover what they are most passionate about will help them as they grow and prepare to be a part of society. 

 

A little about me, I grew up in West Valley City, Utah and live with my family of 8. My favorite way to spend my free time is to hang out with my family and friends. I enjoy watching movies with them, going on road trips, and having bonfires. My mom has a daycare business at our house, so I have spent the majority of my life surrounded by children and learning about how to take care of them and help them grow. I’ll end with a quote to describe why I am so excited to work here as a teacher’s assistant: “Happiness is seeing the smile on a child’s face as they learn”.
