Last year was my first year as the art teacher at Ascent West Valley, and I am so excited to be back! It has been amazing to see the creativity that my students bring to the table, and I hope to have even more fun this year. The amazing teachers that I had in elementary school and beyond are what inspired me to become a teacher myself, and I can’t wait to share my passions with my students!

Growing up in Salt Lake, I attended West High where I developed my passion for art in the International Baccalaureate program. I then graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a double major in Fine Arts and Spanish, and have spent my time since then working as an artist and art teacher. I have two dogs, a cat and a snake at home, and spend most of my free time gardening, reading and making as much art as I can!
