Hello, Arctic Foxes! My name is Ms. B! I was born and raised in Brazil and I speak Portuguese. I moved to the USA when I was just 17 years old to go to BYU where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Since then, I have taught at charter schools around Utah and Idaho. I have taught 1st and 2nd grades, K-5 Art, K-5 PE, and have worked as an Instructional Coach (K-8). Ever since graduating from BYU, I have earned a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. 

What I love the most about Ascent are the amazing staff and parents! I love how staff and parents are all so supportive of each other and are always striving to provide our students with the best education.

In my spare time, I enjoy practicing Hot Yoga, spending time with my puppy, Echo, and reading a good book!
