Here I go, Here I go, Here I go again! What’s my weakness, STEM!

I am excited to join Ascent Academy and share my passion for Computer Science & STEM. I love exploring new technologies, concepts and innovations and can’t wait to inspire students to explore the wonders of computer science, technology and the art of making.

A Teacher and Librarian with fifteen years of experience, my interest in the Maker Movement inspired the development of a STEM Lab that fostered curiosity, critical thinking and experimentation among students and created a hands-on learning environment where students actively participate in projects, experiments, and problem solving activities.

Beyond the classroom, I am committed to promoting STEM education in the community and encouraging students to pursue interests and potential careers in the STEM fields.

Personally, I love spending time with my daughter, walking my dog, thrifting and visiting art galleries and festivals. Did I mention that I love live music?
